Anne works with individuals and businesses large and small across the private, public and not for profit sectors. She has a firm belief that investing in personal development will bring increased job satisfaction and deliver superior personal and business results. For over 25 years Anne has motivated and developed individuals and teams to realise their potential and add value to the companies or organisations in which they work.
Anne Montgomery’s career began in the private sector after St Andrews University working primarily for Marks and Spencer plc and, more recently, for J Sainsbury’s plc . Her now extensive business leadership experience at board level in Corporate, Commercial and HR operations has been gained through appointments regionally in the UK and also internationally in western and eastern Europe.
To complement these skills she holds qualifications in Programme Management, Occupational Psychometric Assessment with the British Psychological Society and Coaching and Mentoring with the Institute of Learning and Management. She now works independently as an associate to companies and individuals offering services such as assessment for recruitment selection and promotion. She also has a passion for coaching, mentoring and leadership development to help others be the best they can be.
In recent years Anne has also held a non-executive position in the NHS and she is currently a Governor at the London South Bank University, a trustee with Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and an assessor to the Commissioner for Public Appointments NI.
