Trevor Pearce,
Risk and Integrity

Trevor Pearce, Chief Executive of Marylebone Risk and Integrity, spent 40 years in law enforcement during which time he was Director General of both the National Crime Squad (NCS) and the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA).

Trevor’s focus at Marylebone Risk and Integrity is on organisational and operational risk management together with stakeholder and reputation management. His former roles at the highest levels of law enforcement are reflected in his extensive experience of working in partnership with industry, the military, security and intelligence agencies, police forces and the wider public and private sectors. As a consequence, Trevor is well versed in providing advice and counsel to Ministers, officials and numerous counterparts and partners in the UK and overseas on the nature of, and appropriate responses to, serious and organised crime. In keeping with this he is a former member of various ministerial and professional forums in relation to crime, terrorism and associated matters.

Trevor’s credentials encompass the investigation of national and international serious and organised crime; national security matters; counter terrorist planning; and integrity enquiries. He is an acknowledged authority on covert investigations and tactics, particularly in relation to informants, undercover deployments, technical and physical surveillance, crimes in action and firearms operations. Accordingly, he has headed up several national reviews into aspects of covert law enforcement and the supporting legislation.
